Sarawak's newly launched state-owned airline AirBorneo aims to tackle persistent complaints about high airfare costs while improving air connectivity and supporting economic development across the state.
Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Fadillah Yusof welcomed AirBorneo Airways' inaugural flight from Kuching to KLIA Terminal 1, with Sarawak Premier Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg on board. The state-owned airline will operate twice-daily services with fares starting from RM375.
