Dr David Lacey, chairman of the Semiconductor Fabrication Association of Malaysia, has been appointed as the new British Honorary Consul in Penang. The 60-year-old semiconductor industry leader takes over from Datuk Robert Hawkins, who retired after two decades in the role.
