Greece Mobilises Massive Firefighting Force as Wildfire Threatens Megara Near Athens
Greece has deployed over 500 firefighters, including international crews, to combat a major wildfire ravaging the Kithairon Mountains west of Athens. The rapidly spreading flames now threaten the city of Megara, roughly 50 kilometres from the capital.
