New KWAN Law Blocks Future Large Withdrawals Without Parliamentary Approval
Parliament has passed legislation tightening controls over the Kumpulan Wang Amanah Negara (KWAN) fund, requiring Dewan Rakyat approval for future withdrawals after the 2021 RM5 billion extraction exposed regulatory gaps.
