Structural Decay and Urban Pressures Behind George Town Tree Collapse
A 90-year-old Angsana tree collapsed on Jalan Macalister in George Town after suffering from extensive root rot and base trunk cavities. Three people were injured when the 28-metre tree fell onto their vehicle.
