Sabah Launches 25-Year Forest Master Plan to Balance Development and Conservation
Sabah is developing a 25-year Forest Master Plan to guide resource management while balancing economic growth with environmental protection. The state currently maintains 63% forest cover and plans to designate 2.2 million hectares as Totally Protected Areas.
