
Malaysia's Mangrove Restoration Reaches Nearly 4,000 Hectares, Signalling Commitment to Blue Economy
Malaysia has successfully restored nearly 4,000 hectares of mangrove forests by planting more than 9.3 million trees nationwide. The government has allocated RM71.3 million through 2025 for conservation efforts, with an additional RM2 million earmarked under the 13th Malaysia Plan for 2026.
