IIUM Rector Osman Bakar Honoured as National Tokoh Maal Hijrah 2026
International Islamic University Malaysia Rector Prof Emeritus Datuk Dr Osman Bakar has been named the National Tokoh Maal Hijrah at the national-level Maal Hijrah 1448H/2026 celebration in Putrajaya, with Moroccan scholar Dr Ahmad Al-Raysuni receiving the International honour.
