Malaysia's Civil Service Drives Competitiveness Climb, PM Anwar Asserts
Malaysia has advanced to 15th place in the IMD World Competitiveness Index 2026, climbing eight positions from 23rd last year. Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim attributed the improvement to civil service effectiveness rather than individual leadership.
