Malaysia Strengthens Witness Protection Framework With Comprehensive Amendment Bill
Malaysia has tabled the Witness Protection (Amendment) Bill 2026 to strengthen protections for witnesses, introduce psychological support services, and allow guardians to enrol minors and those lacking legal capacity into the witness protection programme.
