Singaporean fugitive sentenced to over two years in jail after fleeing to Malaysia following 2021 nightclub assault
A Singaporean man who evaded justice by escaping to Malaysia after a violent 2021 nightclub brawl has been sentenced to over two years in prison. Marcus Yeo Zhen Wei was eventually apprehended in Malaysia on drug charges and returned to Singapore in November 2025.
