Malaysia's housing ministry has successfully revived 1,576 abandoned and stalled property projects since 2023, recovering 188,525 housing units worth RM148.21 billion through its dedicated task force.
Malaysia's Deputy Housing and Local Government Minister Datuk Aiman Athirah Sabu announced declining figures for troubled private housing projects in Peninsular Malaysia, with 130 classified as delayed and 302 as sick as of April 30. The task force has revived 1,576 projects since 2023.
