Malaysia to Impose RM100,000 Fines for Railway Cable Theft Under New Transport Law
Malaysia is moving to dramatically increase penalties for railway cable theft to RM100,000 per offence, up from the current RM1,000 fine. Deputy Transport Minister Hasbi Habibollah says the amendment will be tabled in Parliament by year-end.
