Coinbase Wins FOIA Settlement with US SEC Over Lost Communications
Coinbase has settled a Freedom of Information Act lawsuit against the US Securities and Exchange Commission, which lost text messages between former Chair Gary Gensler and other officials. The SEC will pay $150,000 and overhaul its record-retention policies.
