India firmly rejects any third-party role in Nepal boundary dispute
India has categorically ruled out any third-party mediation in its boundary disputes with Nepal, rejecting Nepali Prime Minister Balendra Shah's suggestion that Britain should help resolve the issue stemming from the 1816 Sugauli Treaty.
