Malaysia to Explore Foreign Trade Settlement in Ringgit as Part of Currency Diversification Strategy
Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim has committed Malaysia to investigating the settlement of international trade transactions using the ringgit, drawing inspiration from successful bilateral currency arrangements China has established with trading partners.
