PETALING JAYA, April 1 — A massive fire broke out at a gas pipeline in Taman Puchong Perdana this morning, with flames seen from kilometres away and widely shared on social media.
Selangor Fire and Rescue Department assistant director of operations Ahmad Mukhlis Mukhtar said authorities received an emergency call about the fire at 8.23am.
Earlier, videos and images of the blaze went viral, with some social media users initially speculating that it occurred near a petrol station in Putra Heights or around Subang and Puchong.

SJ Echo had posted a video of the fire earlier today, while footage of the raging flames continues to circulate online.
Firefighters are at the scene.
