A person will appear before the Shah Alam Sessions Court to face 158 criminal charges stemming from the misappropriation of public funds under Op Sutra, the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission said.

The charges relate to allegations of improper handling of state resources and funds. Op Sutra, a major anti-corruption initiative, has uncovered numerous instances of financial misconduct within government agencies.

This represents a significant enforcement action by the MACC as it continues its crackdown on graft and misuse of public money across the country.
