Parti Amanah Negara is determined to reclaim several Johor state constituencies it once held, notably Parit Yaani and Kota Iskandar, as the party gears up for the upcoming state election. Johor Amanah chairman Aminolhuda Hassan disclosed that the party will field candidates across 19 seats, continuing its presence in Simpang Jeram, which remains its sole victory from the 2022 state election.

The party's candidate lineup will span multiple constituencies including Permas, Kemelah, Tenang, Serom, Maharani and Bukit Pasir, according to Aminolhuda. Despite acknowledging that several targeted seats are traditionally held by Barisan Nasional, he expressed confidence in Amanah's ability to mount a competitive campaign, particularly in suburban areas where the party sees stronger prospects.

Aminoihuda, who captured Parit Yaani under PAS in 2013 and later under the Pakatan Harapan-Amanah banner in 2018, stressed the party's resolve to challenge incumbents across the state. As Johor Pakatan Harapan chairman, he revealed that the coalition has assigned Endau, Pulai Sebatang and Senggarang to PKR, reflecting coordination among opposition partners.

Among unresolved allocation matters are Puteri Wangsa and Larkin, where coalition parties are still negotiating seat distributions. Puteri Wangsa was captured by MUDA's Puteri Amira Aisya Abd Aziz in 2022 with a 7,114-vote majority in a six-way contest, whilst Barisan Nasional's Mohd Hairi Mad Shah won Larkin by 6,178 votes.

Democratic Action Party will contest 17 seats while PKR will field candidates in 20 constituencies in the forthcoming election, underscoring the broader coalition strategy across Johor's electoral landscape.
